AHM is a joint venture between PT Astra International Tbk and Honda Motor Company Ltd, and is licensed to manufacture and sell Honda motorbikes in Indonesia. In 2010, AHM sold more than 3.4 milion Honda motorbikes, surpassing its previous sales record in 2008 and growth 26.5% from 2009. Its sales became AHM as a market leader in Indonesia’s motorbikes markets. In distributing its products, AHM engages with several main dealers responsible for given regions accross Indonesia. AHM supported by Honda Sales Operation (HSO) and given 30% for all of Honda sales.
