PT. Batutua Tembaga Raya adalah pengelola unit pengolahan dan pemurnian (smelter) di Pulau Wetar, Maluku Barat Daya. Perusahaan bekerjasama dengan PT Batutua Kharisma Permai selaku pemilik izin usaha pertambangan (IUP) dengan konsesi lahan seluas 2.773 hektare (ha). Kedua perusahaan adalah anak usaha Finder Resources Ltd yang bermarkas di Australia.

Sebelumnya, Batutua juga telah menyelesaikan uji coba pengoperasian smelter mini plant dengan kapasitas produksi 3.000 ton per tahun.

Berdasarkan hasil comissioning itu, perusahaan telah memproduksi 2.440 ton tembaga batangan. Seluruh volume produksi akan dijual di pasar ekspor. Sementara Batutua menargetkan total produksi dan ekspor tembaga batangan mencapai 9.000 ton.

PT Batutua Tembaga Raya saat ini kembali membuka beberapa posisi dengan kualifikasi sebagai berikut:

1. OHS Superintendent

Main Accountability;

  • implement health and safety policies and systems
  • develop and implement safe systems of work
  • promote health and safety education and awareness program’s
  • develop and maintain processes for statutory requirements and compliance
  • advise and assist managers in meeting their health and safety responsibilities
  • provide leadership in promoting a safety culture
  • investigate, report and record accidents and safety statistics
  • co-ordinate all internal and external OHS reports
  • co-ordinate mine rescue team

Requirements:

  • Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the OHS Superintendent will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s OHS strategies in a team environment and should have:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in any Discipline (prefer OHS)
  • Minimum 7 years, including 5 years work experience at senior OHS position
  • POP certification
  • Good budgeting skills
  • Good leadership, people and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative, process and result oriented
  • Highly motivated and able to work as a part of a team and individually
  • Willing to be placed at the Project Site

2. Community Development Administrator

Main Accountability:

  • Ensure effective management of Community Development daily operations: Tim Sheets, Travel Request, Daily toolbox subjects.
  • Ensure adequate office supplies and maintain a system for application and tracking.
  • Compiling and filling Community Development reports.
  • Manage project regulations, SOP, memorandum in a friendly manner for easy access.
  • Liaise with other departments for admin matters.

Required skills and experience:

  • University degree or equivalent in business administration, Public Administration, Economic or related fields.
  • minimum 3 years of relevant experience at experience at national or international.
  • Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel).
  • Fluency in English.
