Administrative Support Associate
The Wallace F. Ackley Company is seeking a full time Administrative Support Associate for our busy East Columbus Rental Office. Interviews will be held the week of July 6th through 9th.

We are seeking an administratively strong, helpful and efficient associate , to support the Asset Manager with day to day property management duties.

We would like our candidate to:

Have a can-do attitude and be professional and courteous at all times.

Be proficient with the Microsoft office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel and Word). Be familiar with office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, fax, copier and scanner.

Have an eye for detail.

Have ability to solve issues with little help.

Have the thought process to resolve disputes in a beneficial manner.

Be able to move quickly and efficiently from task to task.

Be policy and procedure driven.

Have ability to adapt to change and be willing to learn new jobs as the job description may change.

Embrace fair housing.

Have at least two years’ experience in an office setting.

Have favorable credit.

This position performs the following functions:

Assists Asset Manager /Realtor with all duties related to property management.

Prepares file for the eviction process.

Prepares files for the collection process.

Collects and calculates confidential information.

Communicates with City Departments.

Collects documents for Reasonable Accommodation approvals and recertification.

Communicates with utility companies.

Handles cash daily.

Makes periodic collection calls.

Composes and distributes correspondence.

Schedules appointments and makes calls.

Assists with office parties and employee recognition events.

Greets clients both in person and over the phone, determines call destinations and transfers calls.

Signs keys in and out for rental and sale properties.

Takes maintenance work orders both in person and over the phone, as support when needed.

Takes applications for rental properties, as support when needed.

This position requires accuracy and professionalism.

This position is Monday through Friday 8:30 am through 5 pm. The rate of pay is 17.00 per hour, with an evaluation and increase after approximately 90 days. We offer paid holidays, paid vacations, paid sick days. We do not offer Health insurance but supplemental dental, vision and life insurance is available through Aflac.
