Bellwether is the newest, boutique hotel project from Collier House, a luxury away-from-home design and management company. Bellwether is the first of a new type of hotel: focusing on fewer rooms to create higher attention to each guest and marrying all the amenities of a large luxury hotel with the size and charm of a bed and breakfast. Bellwether is a fully inclusive experience that is curated to impress even the most discerning of travelers.
This is a morning position requiring prompt attendance.

Bellwether House strives to be passionate and dedicated in providing an authentic and superior experience. We seek an enthusiastic, confident, driven pastry chef for Bellwether House. Because this is a small operation, it may not be for everyone; this position is for someone who cares deeply about the culinary arts and less about the swashbuckling escapades of a brigade style kitchen. This position has career growth and incentivization opportunities available to the right candidates.
Lead kitchen team in Executive Chef’s absence
Provides guidance to junior staff members, including, but not limited to, food preparation and dish plating
Tracks, orders and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
Works with the Executive Chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s policy and vision
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
Savannah, GA 31401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
