Customer Care Representative

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Customer Care Representative at Art Culinaire is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of the company. Their duties include answering phone calls or emails from customers to answer questions, participating in meetings with the operations team to discover new communication strategies and maintaining expert knowledge about company products or services to best help customers. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity and team work.

Essential Functions:

A Customer Service Representative’s duty is to support customers. This main responsibility covers a variety of duties, such as:

  • Providing introductory information to new customers
  • Ensuring that customers are satisfied with products or services
  • Following up with clients or customers to check that they’re still satisfied with any purchases
  • Letting customers or clients know about additional products or services
  • Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions
  • Escalating queries and concerns
  • Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service
  • Working with the Customer Care team and other departments to find appropriate solutions
  • Working closely with the General Manager on the Buy-Back Program by directly reaching out to customers that may want to upgrade to a new range.

Essential Qualifications:

Functional

  • Strong customer service background.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Proficient computer skills to include, Word, Power Point, Excel, email, website software with an aptitude to learning new programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve department and organizational goals.

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of customer service

Licensure / Certification

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for the state in which you are applying and an acceptable motor vehicle record

Software/Equipment knowledge

  • Proficient in the use MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.

Experience

  • Experience working in culinary retail industry with international shipping.

Software/ Equipment Knowledge

  • ZOHO Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
