Note: The pay range listed reflects our STARTING PAY RANGE only and does not reflect the full range which steps up to $27.55 per hour (top pay typically reached within two years with proven mastery of skills and good performance). Location: Lake Havasu & Parker, Arizona at our Mark Wilmer and Bouse Pumping Plants. About the Position As a Maintenance Worker, you would perform a wide variety of manual labor, janitorial and semi-skilled tasks associated with the operation, maintenance and general housekeeping of CAP Pump Plants, Check Structures, Turnouts and various Aqueduct facilities. Completes detailed facility inspection procedures to verify site compliance with CAP's health, safety and environmental standards. Advises Supervisor of any deficiencies and independently initiates corrective actions as required. Operates trashrakes and other auxiliary systems in support of routine facility operation and maintenance. Uses hand and power tools to perform maintenance for mechanical repairs. Performs vehicle and equipment pre-maintenance and safety checks as required. About the Qualifications If you have a high school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of craft training or experience in a "semi-skilled" helper classification; experience in the operation of two-axle and single-unit vehicles; experience in the use of hand and power tools; knowledge of construction labor work processes, terminology and safety rules; and knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safety requirements, then we highly encourage you to apply for this position.
