Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to assist to live out our Mission, “To help our members achieve financial success by providing exceptional products and service.”
The Member Fulfillment Representative will process all incoming membership/share applications, formally onboard new members, and engage existing members. In completing these tasks, representatives will be contributing to stronger, growing membership base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with our Service Promises.
Process all assigned pending online membership/share applications submitted through the Credit Union’s website/mobile app. These duties include
Complying with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as well as abiding by all Credit Union account opening policies and procedures
Detecting, reporting, and mitigating fraudulent activity
Sending documentation to file room to be scanned and shredding sensitive documents when applicable
Prepare daily account funding ACH file, as needed.
Complete assigned outbound call queue daily, including, but not limited to the following:
Welcoming new members to the Credit Union within two days of opening account
Recommending relevant products/services to new members two weeks after opening account
Checking on financial goals of new members two months after opening account, suggesting additional Credit Union products/services based on their goals and segmentation(s)
Reactivating inactive and/or dormant accounts
Placing follow-up calls on any of the above categories
Completing member relationship-building assignments, such as sending out birthday cards
Attend ongoing training as needed, including on and off-site workshops and webinars.
Other duties as assigned
Advanced understanding of credit union products and services
Background in sales and service, credit union experience preferred
Understanding of online account opening process, including related regulations and experience in detecting/mitigating new account fraud
Advanced knowledge of computers and various software (Microsoft Office Suite, ShoreTel, Symitar, Meridian Link, onboarding systems, etc.)
Excellent communication, multi-tasking, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability of completing assigned tasks by established deadlines
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Potential starting Pay Range (Hourly): $35,000 – $50,000 annually ($16.83 to $24.04 per hour hour).
Physical Job Requirements:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines such as calculator, computer, printer, facsimile, telephone, copier, etc. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop as needed. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 20 pounds.
