The Document Control Coordinator will manage Quality Assurance controlled documents and materials. Work across departments and with other companies to manage and assist the development, release and change process of controlled documents and materials. Will also support our Product Development department with forecasted product launches. To be successful in this role, the Quality Assurance Specialist will need to have a strong SAP background to help us transition over from Filemaker to SAP.
In this role you will:
Coordinate the activities of Document Control including creation, distribution and auditing of controlled documents.
Manage and maintain Change Control Process.
Maintenance of electronic forms and directories.
Tracking and reporting on the document change process.
Assign document activities and owners for controlled documents.
Collaborate with others to prepare and create controlled documents.
Assist with product research and development.
Review and proofread documents for accuracy, completeness and format consistency.
Maintain controlled document archives.
Provide support in ensuring cGMP compliance.
Support regulatory compliance for both domestic and international products and documentation.
Responsible for the revision and release (including reviewing, routing and organizing) of product labels and finished goods packaging materials for domestic and support the International Department as needed.
Monitor regulatory activity to ensure and maintain compliance with finished goods printed materials, records and document management laws.
Keep abreast of developments in document management by reviewing current literature, talking with colleagues, participating in educational programs, attending meetings or workshops, or participating in professional organizations or conferences.
Any other special tasks or projects assigned by supervisor/manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field preferred.
3+ Years in a Document Control position. SAP QA experience mandatory.
Experience with Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) and Non-GMO Project certification.
Familiar with cGMP regulations for dietary supplements, food or pharmaceutical, change control management and associated systems.
Must be extremely proficient in SAP in the QA function through Fiori. (Web based)
SAP QM Planner (Fiori)
Proficient in Office- Word, Excel, familiar with FileMaker or similar database software. Ability to navigate and interact with online certification systems.
