Healthcare For The Homeless - Houston Hiring 2021 - Healthcare For The Homeless - Houston assign an opportunity to apply Front Desk Specialist II that will be placed in Houston.
Medical Front Office responsibilities include: greeting and registering patients, making appointments, verifying insurance, answering phones, entering client data into electronic health record and homeless management information system. This position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services
Responsibilities:
Position requires exceptional communication and customer service skills, experience, and proficiency with patient registration functions. Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible with assignments.
Skills:
- Patient Registration and electronic health record data entry skills
- Customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and social skills with demonstrated ability to interact with a variety of individuals including those with behavioral health needs
- Able to operate small office equipment, including photocopier, telephone, and computer.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
