Communicate with customers about orders, pricing, delivery information, and quality concerns
Input orders, calculate footage, and prepare work orders
Review billing for accuracy
Coordinate with other employees, departments, and offices to ensure that orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor inventories, allocation of goods, transportation needs, loading procedures, trailer substitutions, and consolidation of orders
Obtain credit approvals and figure COD amounts
Follow up with customers about backorders or other problems
Ensure customers are aware of branch shipping schedules
In addition, the Customer Service Coordinator performs any other tasks related to the operation of this branch as directed by the Customer Service Manager. This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills and the ability to work with numbers
Previous customer service or sales experience
Ability to exemplify a cooperative attitude
