Warehouse Shipping Associate

Westin Furniture is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Associate to join our team! This position will be a key source to Shipping Management and potential permanent team member! This position consists of a lot of physical work.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• FAST and ACCURATE Picking/Pulling daily orders via Pick List
• Manage Warehouse Cleanliness
• Manage Container Receiving which consists of physically making space in the warehouse for products coming in
• Label Printing
• Work measured with Fast Pace and Measured Efficiency
• Quality Control & Checking for correct products pulled and packed

• Load products/orders into Carrier trucks
• Documenting Finished Work: Organized Shipment Labels, & Properly Labeling Ship Boxes and Packages etc.
• Warehouse Inventory Control
• Warehouse Consolidation
• Able to learn quickly and understand Products & its Features
• Assisting in other Departments (if Needed)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Must be Organized and Very Pro-Active
• Honest and Accountable
• Detail-Oriented, Very Careful (Mindful); all mistakes will be held accountable
• Strong Communication and Analytical Skills with Office and Shipping Dept.
• Must be Punctual
• Good with Math (quick with numbers)
• Must be Enthusiastic, Energetic
• Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor Always
• Excellent Memorization, & Note-Taker
• Team-oriented; Willing to Help
• Must be able to follow directions and motivated to work and grow with the company

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform essential functions of job with/without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to lift a minimum 100 lbs.
• Physically Fit
• Fast Taping Accuracy
• Must be able to Palatalize within 5 minutes
• Fast Packaging Accuracy

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years Warehouse Management Experience in E-Commerce warehouse

PLUS, EXPERIENCE:

• SHIPPING & SCHEDULING
• PICKING/PACKING ORDERS
• PULLING ORDERS
• IDENTIFYING CATALOG PRODUCTS
• TEAM ORIENTED
• COMPUTER SAVVY
• INVENTORY CLERK

Job Type: Full-time or Part time as need

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Warehouse Management 1 year
• Shipping: 1 year
• Packing 1 year

Required license or certification:

• Driver's License
• Forklift Certified
