Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accountant’s primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of the accounting functions for the Center including but not limited to: all aspects of regional general accounting procedures, month and year-end closing, analytical and reporting reviews, cost accounting, financial statement preparation, reconciliation of bank and investment statements, inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable, auditing, and some payroll duties. This position often requires the processing of large volume, multiple functions, and sometimes complex transactions within limited and strict timelines.
Base pay is dependent on education and experience.
* Bilingual premium available for individuals fluent in Spanish or Burmese
Additional Compensation and incentives:
Eligible for $150/month ($1,800 annually) in student loan repayment
Earn $750 for every person you refer who is hired and remains employed for 6 months and receive an additional $500 every year as long as you both remain employed.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related field
CPA preferred (or pursuing) but not required
3 years of progressively responsible professional accounting or auditing experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Healthcare experience preferred but not required
Non-Profit experience preferred but not required
Excellent Excel skills required, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality along with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity
Superior organizational and strong multi-task management skills.
Ability to prioritize duties as well as utilize problem-solving techniques
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate ability to follow through with complex tasks as assigned under strict timelines
