  • Do you have child care experience with children age birth to Pre-Kindergarten?
  • Have you completed the Division of Children and Families (DCF)mandatory 45 hour training?
  • Do you have a Staff Credential or a Child Development Degree (a CDA ) or an equivalent degree or are you willing to obtain within 6 mos. of employment?

This is an hourly position that requires the ability to be available to fulfill all of the hours of the school’s operations. The school is for students of childcare age: from six weeks old to Pre-Kindergarten / VPK and Before and After school for Elementary age children.

It requires an eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, time management skills and a commitment to making sure all student, families and staff have their needs prioritized and met within the Primrose standards.

There is a high level of multitasking, follow up and self-direction to completion of tasks. This includes all student enrollment components including emails, phone calls and handwritten letters. In addition, it requires completion of VPK paperwork, NACCRA paperwork, overseeing staff scheduling and approval and disapproval of staff requests for time off and all other school positions including bus driver responsibilities.

Completion of the State of Florida DCF hours and a CDA (or higher) or the desire/ability to complete within six months of hire.

Candidates will be required to complete an on-line Survey Assessment for the position.

Must interview in person, compile a mock email, complete mock phone calls and write sample letters to a mock family and complete other duties for a period of time to insure a true idea of the position’s responsibilities.

This position also requires the stand-in ability as the second manager in the absence of the Assistant Director or Director

Knowledge of Primrose Schools and their programs is a plus.

After/Upon Employment:

> Must meet all Primrose Schools and local, state or national basic health

requirements as well as other requirements.

> First Aid training (or willing to receive) as required.

> Must complete all necessary company employment and payroll forms.

> In states where required, personnel will have a fingerprinting and/or criminal investigation report completed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.25 - $13.25 per hour
