PURPOSE OF JOB
This position is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle recruiting experience at the library, enabling the organization to deliver on its strategies and mission. To facilitate a timely and efficient process, as well as hire quality employees, this position posts, sources, screens, interviews and provides administrative support for internal and external applicants and hiring managers.
* PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Participates in the development and implementation of the Library’s recruiting and staffing strategy.
Coordinates and executes the administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting for internal and external candidates including, but not limited to: sourcing, screening, applicant flow, interviewing, background and reference checks, selection and compensation.
Processes internal staff transfers.
Guides hiring managers and applicants through the interview and hiring process.
Organizes post-interview feedback with candidates, hiring manager and/or interview teams.
Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of compensation policies and procedures.
Tracks, observes, analyzes and reports on recruiting performance including location activity, time to fill ratios, sourcing effectiveness, quality of hire, cost-per-hire and employee retention. Recommends and implements process improvements.
Participates in employment events and career fairs, and uses social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions.
Supports the growth and retention of internal candidates through developmental opportunities and education.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with multiple recruiting resources to identify and recruit diverse talent.
Participates in HR workforce initiatives in support of employee engagement and retention.
Performs additional duties as assigned including support of HR team functions and initiatives.
* QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS*
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or related field.
Three to five years’ of HR experience with an emphasis in recruiting and staffing.
Knowledgeable in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal compliance, and relationship management.
Excellent knowledge and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Ability to operate library technology including personal computer, email, software programs (i.e. Windows/Microsoft Office) and other job related equipment and systems.
Ability to utilize reliable transportation to promptly report to job assignment and other locations, per job requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,583.77 - $75,920.00 per year
