Canine Caviar is looking for an HR Representative to join our team to handle Human Resources, Payroll Administration and Accounts Payable functions. HR knowledge and background is a must. Candidate should have knowledge and a good understanding of full cycle recruiting, and labor legislation. Position will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR, Payroll and AP procedures run smoothly at all times.

1. Develop and administer policy and procedures, human resource functions and employee relations for compliance and consistent with management objectives and goals to support business growth.

2. Oversee office administration personnel operations. Counsel department managers and management on personnel issues, progressive discipline, training, ensure administration processes consistent with policy and procedure.

3. Responsible for Human Resources, Payroll administration systems and recordkeeping, while maintaining confidentiality. Evaluate and ensure policies are in line with management goals and cost effective. Recommend improvements to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

4. Actively respond to customer service calls related to product, questions, and issues. Assess, evaluate issues, suggests appropriate customer service solutions. Escalate difficult issues to management level for resolution and document in Sales Application Platform.

5. Contact customers and collect payment for warehouse management timely for sales order process. Process will call customers.

6. Maintain Time & Attendance data, backup and related recordkeeping processes. Submits payroll semi-monthly, record payroll liability data in accounting platform.

7. Maintain and process Accounts Payable expenses, all recordkeeping processes, track reimbursements for business travel, and reconcile all credit card activity for accounting purposes in accounting platform.

8. Facilitate employee performance evaluation system. Create job descriptions to support performance evaluation system. Monitor, revise and update as necessary for career development to support business growth.

9. Develop, implement and maintain compensation program within budget guidelines. Conduct annual salary surveys, analyze compensation data, maintain internal pay structure and salary planning system as requested by senior management.

10. Develop, recommend personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on work and employment policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

11. Responsible for recruiting, staffing, onboarding and benefits administration programs all levels, benefits open enrollment and payroll administration functions.

12. Support and maintain commercial line insurances, policy administration and plan year renewals with approval by senior management.

13. Oversee business travel expenditures and recordkeeping using the Sales Application Platform to maintain compliance. Communicate and identify gaps to management.

14. Coordinate trade show setup, related travel and event services as directed by senior management, including shipping crates cost effectively for large events.

15. Participate in organizational and department strategic planning, recommendations to management for related improvements in consideration within budget.

16. Conduct employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, internal investigation processes and exit interviewing; write placement advertisements within budget guidelines.

17. Consults with legal counsel, outside consultants as necessary on employee relation issues.

18. Facilitate safety programs and training processes, staff meetings, identify gaps, review process improvements to maintain employee and workplace safety as safety administrator.

19. Perform other projects, research and related duties as required and assigned by senior management.

20. Establish and maintain effective working relationships and two-way communication with personnel throughout the Company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
