We are a growing Apartment Home Community Operator seeking to fill an Office Coordinator for our community in the Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will have some experience in administration and be highly organized, have strong oral and written communication and computer skills. Candidates should have working knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment in addition to sharing our vision of excellence and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries
  • Collection of reports
  • Preparation of tenant notification letters i.e. new management letters, 7-day notices and contact information forms
  • Obtain bids for property maintenance as well as repairs to community common areas
  • Maintain accurate resident records in property management software and resident files
  • Review and process property invoices
  • Assist with the collections and accounts receivables process
  • Inspect vacant units on an as needed basis
  • Initiate and assist with all lease renewals
  • Help show vacant units and process applications for prospective tenants
  • Build and maintain a resident relation programs
  • Assist in all daily activities of the community such as collections, late notices, posting rents

Skills

  • Must have a dynamic and outgoing personality
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with basic accounting knowledge
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Highly organized with an aptitude for sales
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people
  • Experience with Rent Manager a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Office coordinator: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
